How to Remove a Password from a PDF
Getting into a PDF you know the password to without typing it in every time, and sharing it without one.

A PDF that asks for a password every time gets old fast, especially one you set yourself months ago and now have to hunt for, or one that's about to go to someone else who shouldn't need a password at all just to read it.
Remove it
- Open Unlock PDF and drop in the file.
- If it needs one, type the password once. The result downloads with no password at all.
What actually changes
This isn't a byte-level decryption that hands back the exact original file minus the lock - each page is re-rendered as an image and rebuilt into a fresh PDF. The tradeoff: text that was selectable or searchable in the original won't be anymore. For a form, contract, or scan someone just needs to open, view, and print, that tradeoff is invisible. For a PDF you still need to copy text out of or edit, remove the password with whatever program originally set it, if you still have access to it.
This needs the password, not a way around it
This tool takes a password you already know and removes the need to keep entering it - it doesn't open a PDF you don't have the password to. If you've genuinely lost it, there's no legitimate shortcut here or anywhere else.
Common questions
What if the PDF isn't actually password protected? It still works - you get a clean copy with no prompt, there was just nothing to remove.
Is my password uploaded anywhere? No, the whole process runs in your browser and the password never leaves your device.
