How to Rotate, Flip, or Make a Photo Black and White
Four quick, common fixes that don't need a full photo editor - just the one tool for the job.

Not every photo fix needs a full editor. For the handful of edits people reach for constantly - fixing orientation, mirroring a shot, nudging brightness, going black and white - a single-purpose tool with an instant preview is faster than opening anything heavier.
Fix a sideways or upside-down photo
Use Rotate Image. Phones often save a photo the same way regardless of how you held the camera, adding an invisible tag telling viewers how to display it correctly - most apps read that tag, but not all do. This tool rotates the actual pixels instead, so the result displays correctly everywhere, not just in apps that respect the tag.
Mirror a photo
Use Flip Image when you need a mirror image rather than a turn - a horizontal flip reverses left to right, a vertical flip reverses top to bottom, and both together is the same as a 180-degree rotation. Rotation turns a photo in 90-degree steps; flipping mirrors it, which a rotation can't do.
Adjust brightness, contrast, or color
Use Adjust Photo to brighten a dark shot, tone down blown-out highlights, or push saturation up or down, all with a live preview as you drag each slider. It also includes quick grayscale and sepia effects for a fast black-and-white or vintage look. Pixel dimensions never change - only color and tone are adjusted, and the original format (PNG stays PNG with transparency, JPG stays JPG) is kept.
Convert fully to black and white
If black and white is the actual goal rather than a quick effect, Image to Black and White is the dedicated tool for it, and on Filevolo Pro it handles several photos at once, returning a single .zip instead of one file at a time.
Common questions
Will any of these reduce image quality? Pixel dimensions stay exactly the same across all four tools - nothing is resized or resampled. Saving as JPG uses a high-quality 92% encode, so the loss from re-saving is minimal.
Can I preview the result before downloading? Yes - all four update their preview instantly as you adjust, so you can check the result before saving anything.
Is my photo uploaded anywhere? No. Every one of these runs entirely in your browser, including the live preview.
