How to Sign a PDF Without Printing It
Dropping a signature onto a page directly, instead of printing, signing, and scanning it back in.

Printing a document just to sign it and scan it back in wastes paper and time for something that's really just a picture of your signature placed on a page. If the document doesn't need a legally binding e-signature - just your signature on it - you can skip the printer entirely.
Place a signature directly on the page
- Open Sign PDF and drop in your file.
- Draw your signature with a mouse, finger, or stylus, or type your name and let it render in a signature-style script font.
- Drag the signature to where it belongs on the page and resize it with the slider.
- Download the signed PDF.
If the page is sideways
A page with rotation applied isn't supported for signature placement yet - straighten it first with Rotate PDF, then sign the result.
Common questions
Is this a legally binding e-signature? No - it draws a signature image onto the page, the same as signing a printout and scanning it back in. There's no identity verification, audit trail, or certificate behind it. For a contract or other document that needs a legally recognized e-signature, use a dedicated e-signing service instead.
Can I sign more than one page in one pass? One signature placement per download right now. Download after the first page, then run the result back through the tool for the next one.
Is my file uploaded anywhere? No, the PDF is read, rendered, and signed entirely in your browser.
