Filevolo

HTML to PDF Converter

Paste HTML markup and convert it into a PDF with genuine selectable text, processed in your browser.

Headings, paragraphs, lists, tables, links, and basic text formatting are supported. Images need to be embedded as a data: URI, not linked by URL - an external image address is skipped rather than fetched. Layout-heavy CSS (custom fonts, flexbox/grid positioning) isn't represented in the PDF.

This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your file is not uploaded to a server at any point.

A Real PDF, Not a Picture of Your HTML

Some HTML-to-PDF tools just take a screenshot of the rendered page and drop it into a PDF - the text looks right but can't be selected, searched, or copied. Filevolo instead reads the actual HTML structure - headings, paragraphs, lists, tables, links - and rebuilds it as a PDF with genuine text, the same as opening a Word document and exporting it.

Works From HTML Source, Not a Live Web Page

Paste the HTML markup itself - copied from a code editor, an email template, or a page's source - rather than a URL. A browser can't fetch an arbitrary website from inside another site's tab, so there's nothing to type a URL into here; the markup goes directly in the box.

Frequently asked questions

No - paste the page's HTML source directly. Browser security rules don't allow a website to fetch another site's page on your behalf, so there's no URL field.

Basic text formatting (bold, italic, links, headings) and table/list structure carry over. Layout CSS like flexbox, grid, or custom fonts isn't represented - the result reflects your HTML's structure, not a pixel-accurate render of it.

Yes, if embedded directly in the HTML as a data: URI. An <img> pointing to an external URL is skipped, since nothing is fetched from anywhere else.

Yes - this produces real vector text, not a rasterized screenshot, so it's selectable, searchable, and copyable like any normal PDF.

No. The conversion happens entirely in your browser.
