Merge Images

Combine multiple images into a single picture, side by side or stacked, processed in your browser.

Drag images here, or choose files

JPG, PNG, or WebP. Add at least two images to combine.

You can also paste a file directly (Ctrl+V or ⌘V).

This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your file is not uploaded to a server at any point.

Plan the layout before combining

Choose side by side for a before-and-after comparison, or stacked for a sequence read from top to bottom. Add the images, arrange them with the up and down controls, then choose the layout. Each image keeps its proportions; the tool scales images to a shared height or width rather than cropping them into equal boxes.

Worked example: predict the output dimensions

For a 1200 × 800 photo and a 600 × 600 photo, side-by-side layout uses a shared height of 600 pixels. The first becomes 900 × 600 and the second stays 600 × 600. With the fixed 8-pixel gap, the combined image is 1508 × 600. Stacked layout uses a shared width of 600: the heights become 400 and 600, producing 600 × 1008. These are calculations from the layout rules, not compression measurements.

What the exported file keeps and changes

The result is one JPG, even when the inputs are PNG or WebP. Transparent areas and the fixed gaps become white. The images are re-encoded, so fine text and sharp edges can change and the final byte size is not the sum of the inputs. This is a flat picture, not a layered editing file or a multi-page PDF. Free exports include a Filevolo credit.

Check the result before sharing

Open the downloaded image and check the order, orientation, small text and visible edges at full size. If one image is tiny, it can reduce the resolution of the whole layout: replace it with a larger original or combine a smaller group. Very long stacks can exceed a browser's canvas or memory limit. For separate printable pages, use JPG to PDF instead; for a transparent composition, this JPG-only export is not suitable.

Combine Images Side by Side or Stacked

Place two or more images next to each other for comparisons, before-and-after visuals or simple collages, or stack them vertically for a long combined graphic or continuous screenshot.

Frequently asked questions

Every image is scaled to match the smallest one in the set (by height for side-by-side, by width for stacked), keeping its own proportions - nothing gets stretched or cropped.

Yes. Use the up and down arrows next to each file to arrange them before combining.

No. JPG to PDF keeps each image on its own page in a document. This tool draws every image into one single picture, side by side or stacked.
